Sub-Arachnoid Haemorrhage has been reported to have an effect to at least 8,500 people per year in England
Introduction
This disease is typically cause by an unexpected leakage of blood in the surface of the brain, the term arachnoid usually refers to the membrane that is covering the brain; those blood vessels lie here in this clear fluid supplying blood to the brain.
Causes
This is a dangerous type of condition because they just rupture involuntarily and burst like a balloon in the surrounding tissues because of pressure leading to weakness in the brain. This balloon that had burst blood is called aneurysms. Aneurysms can happen to any part of the body, there are no specific reasons up to now why people have this type of conditions, but many people who are commonly at risk with aneurysms due to high blood pressure, smoking, and for some those who are in the old age, up to now aneurysms are not link to stress.
Differentials
The bursting of blood not all the time occurs when the person is in a physical stress, like coughing heavily, heavy workloads such as lifting heavy objects, strains, and sexual intercourse.
It is a rare chance that aneurysms can burst because of sexual intercourse.
Preventions
Medical practitioners have no specific way up to now on how to prevent this type of condition, on how aneurysms cannot burst, there are no way to identify how to know when the burst will take effect. So there is no identifying mark for those who are at risk of aneurysms.
Symptoms
Some of the gathered data people who are at risk of brain aneurysms experience severe pain in the head, particularly the back, next they will vomit and the pain will be occurring for an hour. People who had this condition sometimes will collapse and lost consciousness those who have seizure disorders.
The Tests
The test to know where the bleeding occurs is called computed tomography, this instrument is used to detect the where the problem arise.
Lumbar Puncture
This type of test is to determine if there is a blood present in the brain. This test will use a needle passing to the spinal cord and there they will be getting a small amount of Cerebrospinal fluid. This is to know also if the bleeding in the subarachnoid space is in the Cerebrospinal fluid.
Treatments
Patients with brain aneurysm had drugs like nimodipine (Nimotop), this calcium channel blocker thus assist in preventing the blood vessel spasm that gives attacks accompanied by ruptured aneurysms. Additional methods of treating vessel spasm include inducing high blood pressure with fluids and medications in an effort to increase blood flow through areas of spasm and narrowing. Some alternative methods to remedy are inducing a high blood pressure accompanied by fluids and drugs to increase the blood movement in the areas where the spasms and narrowing is.
